The Hospitality Team at Provision Center for Proton Therapy is ramping up for the official opening of the Center next month.  An integral part of Provision’s “Culture of Care” is recognizing the proton therapy patient experience, as patients will become visitors and members of the local East Tennessee community for the duration of their treatment stay. The Provision Hospitality Team has developed a robust patient experience program that will ensure our patients have the resources and concierge services to immerse themselves into our community through arts & cultural activities, parks and recreational areas, shopping, restaurants and special events.

As part of the hospitality team’s continuing education, Nancy Howard and Kristin Coffield recently became Blount County Certified Tourism Ambassadors, after successfully completing training to become a nationally recognized Certified Tourism Ambassador. Blount County is the only CTA participant in the State of Tennessee. The training focuses on knowing your resources and serving visitors with all the right steps to create a positive visitor experience, which will fully support the Culture of Care mission of Provision.  This training will also positively impact visitors and customers of ProNova Solutions, which will be relocating to Blount County in 2014.
