Mr. James Williams celebrated the completion of his treatment with a bell-ringing ceremony on November 14, 2018 at Provision CARES Proton Therapy Nashville. Mr. Williams spoke enthusiastically about his cancer treatment experience at Provision, saying, “All the staff members have been so friendly, it feels like a family atmosphere. I have been amazed at the lack of side effects I am experiencing, and I just appreciate that Provision is here in Middle Tennessee and is an accessible resource to the surrounding communities.”
Mary Lou DuBois, President of Provision CARES Proton Therapy Nashville, said “On behalf of the entire Provision CARES team, we are honored and privileged to be a part of this milestone celebration.” As part of the Culture of Care, Provision offers each patient the opportunity to participate in a Victory Bell celebration, where a patient’s family members, friends, and Provision CARES Team gather together to acknowledge and commemorate the completion of the treatment process.
Don and Sulynne Denton generously donated the Victory Bell for Provision CARES Proton Therapy Nashville in honor of Don’s father, Fred Denton, who passed away in 1985 after battling colon cancer.
