Tracy Dobbs, MD
Corporate Chief Medical Officer, Provision Healthcare, LLC.
Dr. Dobbs is the Chief Medical Officer of Provision Healthcare, LLC and a Medical Oncologist and founder of the largest Medical Oncology group, Tennessee Cancer Specialists, in East Tennessee and the second largest in the state. He has been in practice for over 25 years and is director of 3 outlying medical oncology clinics which serve two states. Dr. Dobbs is a champion of research and is the Principal Investigator for many clinical trials and research grants. He has also co-authorized several publications.
Dr. Dobbs earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Dobbs completed a post-graduate fellowship in medical oncology/hematology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. He is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. Dr. Dobbs is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncologists (ASCO), American Cancer Society, the Tennessee Medical Association, the Knoxville County Medical Associates, the American Society of Clinical Oncologists, the American Medical Association, and the American College of Physicians. He served as Chief of Staff of Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee from 1996-1997 and was Chairman of the Credentials Committee from 1994 to 1995. He was also a member of the Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee Board of Directors from 1993 to 2006. Currently he serves on the board of directors of the American Cancer Society, Department of Knox County Medical Associates, and Provision Healthcare.
